Last night I had a really horrific insulin reaction while at work. It was terribly embarrassing. I was completely incoherant and I wandered around mumbling to people.
Later, after Erin had figured out what was going on and took care of me, I felt supremely stupid. I guess everyone just wanted to make sure I was okay, but for some inexplicable reason I always feel ashamed when it happens.
I guess no one wants to be helpless, least of all around people who have no idea what is going on.
Sometimes I really do wish that Diabetes would just hurry up and kill me. Not that I want to die, I just don't want to be Diabetic anymore.
Maybe you think that's weak of me.
