Every time I see one of these signs or it's thousands of sisters (well, I can vouch for Colorado and California) I want to scream. Neigh, I want to go on a homicidal rampage.
People reproduce at an alarming rate, and frankly it's about all that we're good for. We have to put these children of our somewhere, and that requires that we build homes.
But good ol' America has a National Anthem: "Not In My Backyard!"
Everyone wants to breed, but no one wants anyone to live near them. Hypocrites.
So, I have a "Modest Proposal"...
If you are against urban growth and housing development, then be a hero and go have your tubes tied or a vasectomy. If you've already had children, then take them out back and shoot them. If you're an anti-gun type, then it's probably okay to just bludgeon them to death.
The key to stopping urban development and world-wide over population is in each and every one of our hands.
OH!
But if you're not willing to do that, then: SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!
It's your fault that houses cost in the order of a quarter million. Supply and demand, and you, my friends who disdain growth, insure that there is pleanty of demand and NO supply.
