Ever since the discovery of subatomic mechanics, it has been widely believed that science and spirituality can not be reconcilled. I have long held that we will never truely understand our universe until we accept that there are things we can not even begin to fathom and that there is likey a higher force directing much of the clockwork science ascribes to physical forces that they can't even begin to describe. Whether that higher force is a personality who takes active interest in our existance or not is a matter for religion, but science must begin to allow for the possibility of it's existance or they are only going to continue to discover how little we truely understand.
