Murphy's Law haunts me. I've come to realize that this is not delusional, nor paranoid. It is an immutable fact.
The nearest Laundromat (where I wash my clothes, for those of you who are more privileged than I) is almost a mile from my home. When I do go to wash my clothes, I must pack them into my backpack and walk to the Laundromat. Eh? It's good excersise, I don't complain.
Last week, I was nearing a severe need to wash some clothes and as it had been beautiful out all week I was rather looking forward to the winsome excursion.
When I woke up Thursday morning, which is my Saturday, I looked out the window wherein I learned, much to my profound dismay, that it was snowing outside.
Of little concern I thought, I would do it tommorrow. Of course, this being Colorado, it snowed on Friday as well.
Fuck! I'll have to wait until next week. On Saturday I walked to work amidst perfest rays of sunshine.
Today it is Thursday again and after a week of wearing the same pair of pants and circulaiting between three t-shirts, I am more than preparred to wash some god damned clothes.
It's raining.
