Recently I made a very bad mistake. I could have just ignored it, as no one was likely to have realized what I did and had they discovered it, I had more than a little plausible deniability.
But I owned up to it. Actually, I emailed or called every one of my freinds I couldn't tell in person.
Now, I'm not saying this now to garner praise now anymore than I did then, but I had to explain that... you see I expected most of my friends to be angry with me. Honestly, I expected to lose more than a few of them.
However most of them responded by praising my honour and integrity! I certainly did not expect that. What blew my mind though, was that one of my friends went so far as to say that they had come to expect those kinds of actions from me and that I was an example to all of them of what a man should be...
And here I thought I was an insufferable shit.
Thanks everyone. I still don't think I deserve it, but thanks all the same. You've made me feel very loved...
