There are two things I am constantly told I should be thankful for: My hyper-metabolic rate and my youthful appearance.
Not to be a thankless bitch, but you people do not know my pain... I could go on about how yeah, it's nice to be able to eat whatever I want and not gain an ounce but after thirty years of having to eat a full meal every hour or suffer hunger pangs that leave me curled up on the floor wishing for death the excitement has kinda sorta worn off, but I won't. I won't primarily because tonight I want to rant about the other "blessing" I am cursed with.
If I had a dollar for every person who has told me I will be thankful for my baby-face in another twenty years, I would have enough money to buy the judge so I won't go to prison for killing them all in graphic techno-color violence.
Often I've been criticized for dating younger women. I don't date a decade younger than myself because I want to. It's that I look eighteen, so it's the girls that are around twenty or so that want to talk to me. When I talk to women my age, the response I recieve is usually something like "You're so cute, my kid sister would love you. When do you graduate?"
So... a recent example...
I work at a high school, and the other day I was running late, so I was walking through the front lobby when the bell rang and the students came swarming out of their classes. As I'm weaving through the mass of sweaty, hormon laden bodies, a man probably six years my junior hand me a piece of paper and says "Hey, I hope we see you there". I took a look at it, and it was an invitation to a youth rally.

I'm sick of dating little girls, but women won't talk to me because I look like a little boy.

Does the universe understand how perfectly shitty this is?
