So tonight we met for coffee and fired ideas around. It was great, because for the first time ever I felt like I was free to ramble and throw my ideas out, and that those ideas were truely valued. We talked for about three hours and a few times we even stopped and pointed at each other with an unspoken "EXACTLY!" which was very cathartic. We talked about dialog and lighting, pacing and metaphor, imagery and plot. We talked about who we could beg for favors and who would fit what roles. We considered the nonexistant budget and our lack of experience, and none of it scared us a damned bit.
We are going to make a movie.
