So we sat there in the coffee shop, each nursing our own injuries and wondering how the other was going to react. She just wants to know why everything hurts, and I wish that I had never pushed her so far away that I can no longer offer a shoulder to cry into.
What I want is to throw myself at her mercy and beg forgiveness for causing such pain, but I know that is not what she needs. I know what she needs, but I can not give it to her. I ruined that opportunity.
But I realized something...
