While I feel as though I could have done better as a parent, I am often complimented on how well behaved my children are, and how practical I am in dealing with them. Whatever. That's not the point.
The point is, next month I'll be thirty years old.
It would be nice if my father would stop talking to me as though I were half that, and that I were incapable of making a rational decision.
Particularly where my own children are involved.
